Save the date

Unfortunately, for various safety reasons, in consultation with all those involved, we have had to make the decision to go online again this year. This means that students from all the above-mentioned conservatoriums will attend the Focus Day from their own building.

You will be able to follow this day via Zoom: Meeting ID: 289 218 8886 / Passcode: 890753.

Policy

The policy plan aims to take initiatives and actions, which implement the objectives of the organisation. In broad lines it concerns the selection of options through which the objectives, with the means available, can be realised most effectively.

The policy plan aims to take initiatives and actions, which implement the objectives of the organisation. In broad lines it concerns the selection of options through which the objectives, with the means available, can be realised most effectively.
Apart from the already pledged donations, funds will be actively raised from those supportive of the world of music and other sources. There will be an active public relations campaign to bring the Jans Pustjens Foundation to the attention of a wide public with a particular effort to do this outside the traditional circles of classical music.

The raising of funds to support each of the activities to be developed will initially be focused individually on the group targeted to participate in that activity’s realisation. Various additional target groups in the world of classical music, orchestras and educational institutions and their followers will be approached so as to gain further support for the organisation in the wider sense. In this way the foundation seeks a solid basis to ensure the continuity of future activities.

The website will serve to give interested parties the opportunity to submit proposals or applications. The assessment of applications, proposals and contributions submitted collectively or by individuals, will be done by the board.
This assessment will be based on the criteria set out in the objectives and will consider desirability and financial and practical feasibility.

Projects that are approved will be given active guidance and supervision including progress reports and ongoing assessments by the administration.

Nieuws

Dear friends and interested parties,

We are very happy that we can finally go live again this Sunday with our Jan Pustjens Focus Day at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and then immediately with a very special edition.

On Sunday 7 February  the JP Focus-Day took place fort he 7th time. The general theme was “improvisation”.
The full cooperation and enthousiasm of the master Alexandre Babel of Eklekto, Geneva Percussion Center, made it a highly succesful event.

In 2018, The Jan Pustjens Foundation visited the TROMP percussion competition to hand out a special prize to further support a young talent.
The prize was given to Elliott Gaston-Ross! We would like to wish him all the best in his promising career and musical journey!
